Can I Ship Medicine?

Medication depends primarily on the laws of the country you are shipping the medicine into. Individual quantities for personal use should not raise an issue with importing trademarked goods (parallel imports or "grey market goods") but what is legal over the counter in some countries is controlled by the government in other countries. For example, many EU , Asian, and Latin American countries allow the sale of pain medicines containing codeine, but codeine is a scheduled narcotic in the United States and to send this medicine into the United States would be trafficking in narcotics and illegal, even in small quantities for personal use.
